You see the distress we are in, how Jerusalem lays waste, and its gates are burned with fire. Come and let us build the wall of Jerusalem, that we may no longer be a reproach. -Nehemiah 2:17
Many of our cities are literally crying out to be free!
There is a deep groaning that resonates off of broken and dismantled wallsburned and destroyed homes. You can see it in the landscape; you can see it on the peoples faces. They hunger for Zion; they yearn for peace. Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound?
These photographs are of a broken neighborhood, an abandoned city. They were taken in Old Town Victorville, a very beautiful place.
We, as Parea Community, are trying to rebuild its walls, one brick at a time. We are trying to rescue its people, one heart, one life at a time.
